Based out of New Delhi, India, the practice is managed by Sumit Dhingra, an IP Attorney, with more than 24 years of experience in independently managing IP-related matters for large organizations such as Motorola, Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).

Sumit has a technology and legal background with degrees in Science (BSc, MSc), Law (LLB, LLM), and Business Administration (MBA). Sumit holds a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, and is one of the earliest registered Patent Agents with the Indian Patent Office (IN/PA-611). Sumit is also a certified Legal Specialist in Open Source Licensing.

Along with advising clients on IP and Open Source Licensing matters, Sumit has drafted and filed more than 300 patent applications and prosecuted 500 plus applications across various jurisdictions such as USA (United States Patent and Trademark Office, USPTO), India (India Patent Office, IPO), and Europe (European Patent Office, EPO).
